Smart meter maker Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd on Tuesday (August 20) said its wholly-owned subsidiary has been awarded three contracts totalling ₹3,608.52 crore (net of taxes).
These contracts involve the appointment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Providers (AMISPs) to design, supply, install, and commission Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems.
The projects will cover the deployment of approximately 4.26 million smart prepaid meters and system meters across various regions, including Distribution Transformer (DT) meters.
The contracts also include comprehensive Facility Management Services (FMS) to ensure ongoing support and energy accounting on a Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOOT) basis.

With these recent orders, our total order book, including all SPVs and the GIC Platform, stands at about ₹28,000 crore (net of taxes). These concessions are for 8 to 10 years, providing clear visibility into the Company’s robust future growth.”
