Responding to a social media user’s post,\u00a0Anand Mahindra\u00a0highlighted how people have been asking him the same question about how he hopes to be relevant and compete with other multinational companies since the economy opened in 1991.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have been asked similar questions ever since the opening up of the\u00a0Indian economy\u00a0in 1991. How will you compete against: Tata, Maruti, All MNCs?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking confidently about his company and the brand, Anand Mahindra said, \u201cBut we\u2019re still around.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Elon Musk-Tesla Question<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Anand Mahindra was responding to a social media user, Girish Arora, who asked whether or not Indian companies could handle the competition if Tesla entered the Indian market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHow will you handle the competition, if dear @elonmusk\u00a0brings his @Tesla to India? Are you ready Sir?\u201d questioned Arora in his post on platform X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Arora tagged\u00a0Tata Motors\u00a0and Tesla in his response.
