Equity mutual fund inflows in November 2024 totaled \u20b935,927.3 crore, a decrease of 14.1% compared to \u20b941,865.4 crore in October, according to Association for Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of specific fund categories, large-cap fund inflows\u00a0dropped by 26.3%, from \u20b93,452.3 crore in October to \u20b92,547.9 crore in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Small-cap funds saw an increase of 9.0%, rising from \u20b93,772 crore in October to \u20b94,112 crore in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mid-cap funds saw a modest increase of 4.3%, from \u20b94,683 crore in October to \u20b94,883.4 crore in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to equity mutual funds, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) saw a significant drop in inflows, falling from \u20b913,441.8 crore in October to \u20b91,531.2 crore in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Credit Risk Funds continued to face outflows, with \u20b9196 crore leaving the segment in November compared to \u20b9357.8 crore in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sectoral and thematic funds also saw a decrease in inflows, dropping from \u20b912,278.8 crore in October to \u20b97,658 crore in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equity-linked Savings Schemes (ELSS) experienced an increase in inflows, rising to \u20b9618.5 crore in November from \u20b9362 crore in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Fund Offerings (NFOs) had inflows of \u20b94,052 crore in November, which was lower than the \u20b96,078 crore seen in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dividend funds also experienced a drop, with inflows reducing from \u20b9532.8 crore in October to \u20b92,166 crore in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AMFI also noted a dip in flows in liquid funds in November, which was in sync with the liquidity conditions in the broader market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the changes in flows across various segments,\u00a0Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) contributions\u00a0remained steady, with flows at \u20b925,320 crore in November, almost identical to the \u20b925,323 crore seen in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total Assets Under Management (AUM) of the mutual fund industry reached \u20b968.08 lakh crore in November, an increase from \u20b967.25 lakh crore in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the broader industry outlook, Manish Mehta, National Head – Sales, Marketing & Digital Business at Kotak Mahindra AMC, pointed out that SIPs, along with lump sum investments on volatile market days, helped maintain strong inflows despite the dip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
